Alliance of Jamaica Alumni Associations
The Alliance of Jamaica Alumni Associations ("AJAA") is a registered charitable
organization in Ontario, Canada. AJAA is the umbrella organization for over
forty (40) alumni associations who have roots in the Jamaican Educational
system. Our member associations are committed to provide support to their alma
mater in Jamaica through various means. Tens of thousands of dollars have been
Collectively contributed to many educational support initiatives which has
ultimately benefited our youth. Our primary focus is on education. We strive to
ensure that our children have the opportunity to achieve success through our
various programs.

Caribbean African Canadian Social Services
CAFCAN is a registered charitable organization whose primary focus is on
building and strengthening the service framework for African Canadian children,
youth and families through culturally safe individual and group counselling
supports, case management services, employment services, youth mentorship, and
youth outreach programs. CAFCAN Social Services Inc., an incorporated
not-for-profit, full-fledged Social Services Agency is dedicated to supporting
individuals, families and youth to reach their full potential.

Jamaican Canadian Association
The Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA) exists to deliver programs and services,
provides a physical hub, and to advocate to improve the well-being and equity of
Jamaican, Caribbean & African-Canadian communities within the Greater Toronto
Area. The Jamaican-Canadian Association was founded in 1962 by a group of
Jamaicans then living in Toronto. The impetus for the creation of the
association was the emergence of Jamaica from colonial status to becoming an
independent nation in August, 1962.

Little Jamaica
Little Jamaica, a BBPA In the Community Initiative, has partnered with the city
of Toronto's Economic Development and Culture Division, the Confronting Anti
Black Racism Unit and other partners to foster the development of this vibrant
Eglinton West enclave. Eglinton Avenue W., from Keele Street in the west to
Marlee Avenue in the east, known as Little Jamaica, is considered one of
Toronto's many exciting ethnic communities. It features a city laneway named
"Reggae Lane."

Toronto Jamaica Day
Sunrise Talent Program (STP) is a non-profit organization that has produced the
JAMAICA DAYTM Family Food & Music Festival in the GTA since being established in
1991. Our event provides jobs for Home Grown talents and promotes Jamaica's
heritage by highlighting the island's music, food and spoken-word, in a space
that is safe for families. Since its inception our festival has had positive
impacts on various communities by donating to food banks, seniors programs,
youth scholarships, relief programs, artistic expressions development and so
much more.
